I am an information professional with experience in libraries, teaching, and digital scholarship. Most recently, I worked at Sunapee Middle High School in New Hampshire (2008–2025), where I served as librarian and taught Advanced Placement U.S. History, supporting research, writing, and information literacy across the curriculum.
My professional work has focused on helping people engage meaningfully with information. As a librarian, I managed library operations, information systems, and technology resources; as an educator, I guided students through complex research projects involving quantitative analysis, data visualization, and historical interpretation, some of which received national recognition.
Beyond my day-to-day work, I have written about libraries, history, and teaching for publications including ALA’s Knowledge Quest and OAH’s Magazine of History, and I have contributed to and presented on digital projects, sharing this work at professional conferences in New England and at the National Endowment for the Humanities.
My professional service includes serving as a grant reviewer for the NEH Office of Digital Humanities, an AP Exam Reader for the College Board, and a reviewer for Library Journal and Choice Magazine. I remain interested in roles involving public service, collaboration, information management, technology, and research.
